Rana Lei / Robin: Raped in the Name of the Master

by Robin/Rana Lei

We lived in a spiritual community,
In a place that should have been safe and secure;
He said I wasn't so important;
"I am part of the hierarchy, and you are less than I am.
You are jealous of me," he said.
I walk with the Holy and to rise out of the ashes,
You need to obey my words.
We lived in a spiritual community,
Existed within an alternate way of life;
My identify was mirrored within a cult.
"My hands are the hands of the Master -
These are the Master's hands."
"Don't be afraid, let me touch you."
Then you forced me up the stairs;
Let my hands of God touch you.
Don't push me away;
Don't reject God.
Let me be your master.
"No," I said ever so faintly.
"I don't want you to touch me."
But, you touched my body anyway,
Fondled me ever so thoroughly,
All in the name of the Master;
You raped me in the name of the Master.
We lived in a spiritual community.
