The support group is a vital element in the forming of new ideas about who we are and how we operate in our lives. By meeting and communicating with others with whom we share a common experience, we begin to see that we are not alone in our concerns and that these are often shared by others who may have developed ways of coping that can be beneficial to us, and visa versa.
